ICYM NE Regional Team Prepares for 5th Regional Youth Convention

Kohima, February 10, 2025 – The Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM) North East Regional Team held a preliminary meeting in the Diocese of Kohima to prepare for the upcoming 5th Regional Youth Convention. Most Rev. James Thoppil, Bishop of Kohima, and the Nagaland Catholic Youth Movement (NCYM) core team hosted the delegation to discuss key aspects of the event.

Rev. Fr. John Barman, MSFS (Regional Youth Director), Sr. Wansuk Lyngdoh, MSMHC (Regional Youth Lady Animator), Mr. Jonah Chithung (Regional Youth President), and Mr. Jaunt Bora (Regional Youth Treasurer) led the discussions. They focused on planning and coordination to ensure a well-organised and spiritually enriching convention.

The regional team expressed gratitude to Bishop Thoppil and the NCYM team for their warm hospitality and support. The meeting marked a significant step in the preparations, strengthening collaboration for a successful gathering of young Catholics in the North East.
