Youth Sunday Celebrated at Ramanthapur Deanery, Hyderabad

Hyderabad, August 21, 2025: The youth of Ramanthapur Deanery gathered in vibrant fellowship on Youth Sunday, celebrated on 17 August 2025 at St. Ann’s Church, Mallapur. Organised under the Archdiocese of Hyderabad, the event drew enthusiastic participation from young people across the deanery.

The celebration opened with a solemn Holy Mass in the morning, presided over by Fr. Sleeva Raju, Regional Youth Director, who served as the main celebrant. Reflecting on the theme, “You also will testify” (John 15:27), Fr. Raju urged the young faithful to witness courageously to Christ in their daily lives and to build communities founded on faith, hope, and joy.

After the Eucharistic celebration, the youth took part in interactive games and activities that fostered unity and joy. The programme concluded with a fellowship lunch, which strengthened bonds of friendship and community spirit among participants.

Organisers expressed their delight at the active involvement of the youth and highlighted the importance of such gatherings in deepening faith while nurturing leadership and service.

The programme carried the tagline, “Let your soul sing and praise,” reminding all present that true joy springs from a life rooted in Christ.

The event was coordinated by the Ramanthapur Deanery Youth Team, with valuable support from parish volunteers.
