KCYM to Host Mega Job Fair Offering Over 20,000 Vacancies Across Kerala

Kerala, July 15, 2026: The Kerala Catholic Youth Movement (KCYM), in collaboration with several partner organisations, will organise a series of mega job fairs across Kerala on 18 July 2026, providing thousands of young people with direct access to employment opportunities across multiple industries.

Initiative aims to connect thousands of young job seekers with leading employers

The initiative is expected to bring together leading companies from various sectors under one roof, offering more than 20,000 job vacancies for candidates with educational qualifications ranging from Higher Secondary (Plus Two) to postgraduate degrees.

Organisers say the job fairs are part of KCYM's continued efforts to empower young people by helping them secure meaningful employment and build successful careers.

Opportunities for candidates from diverse educational backgrounds

The job fairs will cater to a wide range of job seekers, including those who have completed Class 10, Class 12, ITI, diploma courses, engineering programmes, undergraduate degrees and postgraduate studies.

Participants will have the opportunity to attend direct interviews with recruiting companies, explore career options across different sectors and interact with potential employers without the need for multiple recruitment processes.

According to the organisers, the event is designed to bridge the gap between employers seeking skilled candidates and young people looking to enter or advance in the workforce.

Major job fair in Ernakulam

One of the key recruitment events will take place in Ernakulam district, jointly organised by KCYM, BREADS and the Don Bosco Job Placement Network India.

The job fair will be held at Maria Teresa Scrilli Public School, North Paravur, from 9.00 a.m. to 2.00 p.m.

Candidates possessing qualifications from Class 10 onwards, including ITI, diploma, engineering and postgraduate degrees, are eligible to participate.

Organisers expect strong participation from both employers and job seekers, making it one of the largest employment initiatives in the district this year.

State-level employment initiative

Alongside the Ernakulam event, the KCYM State Committee will also conduct a statewide Mega Job Fair beginning at 10.00 a.m. on 18 July.

The organisers have announced that numerous leading companies representing a variety of industries will participate in the recruitment drive, offering positions in sectors including manufacturing, services, information technology, retail, healthcare and administration.

With over 20,000 vacancies expected to be available, the event is anticipated to provide significant employment opportunities for young people across Kerala.

The organisers have emphasised that advance registration is compulsory for all participants to ensure smooth coordination and efficient scheduling of interviews.

Supporting youth employment

KCYM leaders said the initiative reflects the organisation's commitment to supporting young people as they navigate an increasingly competitive job market.

By bringing employers and candidates together in one location, the job fairs aim to simplify the recruitment process while giving participants the opportunity to meet company representatives, submit applications and attend interviews on the same day.

The organisers also hope the programme will encourage greater industry-academia collaboration by helping employers identify talented candidates from diverse educational backgrounds.

Interested candidates can obtain further information and complete their registration by contacting the organising committee through the designated coordinators.

With thousands of vacancies available and participation from prominent companies, the KCYM Mega Job Fair is expected to become one of the largest youth employment initiatives organised by the Catholic community in Kerala this year, offering fresh hope to young job seekers looking to begin or advance their professional careers.
