Free Health Screening Camp Benefits Parishioners in Bhadravathi

Bhadravathi, Karnataka, December 1, 2025: A free health screening camp was held at Our Lady of Vailankanni Church, Old Town, Bhadravathi, targeting parishioners above 40 years old. The event, organised by the diocesan Health Commission and Nirmala Hospital, provided blood pressure and blood sugar testing for 100 participants.

39 individuals were identified as requiring further medical attention, and Nirmala Hospital has offered six months of free treatment to those in need. The Sisters of St. Charles Borromeo and a team of 12 staff members assisted throughout the programme, ensuring its success. The initiative was well-received by the parish community, who appreciated the care and concern shown towards their health and well-being.
