CCBI Youth Commission Rolls Out Youth Survey to Strengthen Pastoral Response

New Delhi, May 4, 2026: The CCBI Youth Commission has launched a nationwide Catholic Youth Survey, inviting young people across India to share their experiences, perspectives, and realities.

In a rapidly changing world, the initiative seeks to understand how young people are navigating questions related to faith, identity, relationships, and social challenges. The survey is designed as a listening effort, focusing on gaining deeper insight into the lives of youth and the issues they encounter.

Rather than making assumptions about the needs of young people, the survey emphasises direct engagement, encouraging participants to express their thoughts honestly. The responses collected will contribute to shaping future youth ministry initiatives, programmes, and pastoral approaches across the country.

The Commission has urged all young people to take part in the survey, highlighting that each response plays a meaningful role in building a more connected and responsive Church. Participants are also encouraged to share the survey within their networks to ensure wider participation.
