Santvana Missionary Movement Organises Delhi Exposure Programme for Civil Service Aspirants

New Delhi, May 4, 2026: The Santvana Missionary Movement hosted the Teresian Civil Service Grooming Programme (CSGP) Delhi Exposure Programme at Motger House, Burari, from April 24 to 30, 2026. The programme, organised by the CSST Sisters in collaboration with the Kerala Regional Latin Catholic Council (KRLCC), aims to prepare undergraduate girl students for civil service examinations.


The Santvana Missionary Movement hosted and animated the Delhi exposure, arranging accommodation, food, and travel for the participants.


During the programme, the students visited Santvana Sahara study centres in Burari, where they interacted with underprivileged and migrant children and engaged in educational activities. They also visited the children’s homes in nearby settlements, gaining firsthand insight into the challenges faced by marginalised communities.


On April 27, the group visited the CBCI Centre, New Delhi, where Archbishop Kuriakose Bharanikulagara of Faridabad Archdiocese met them and appreciate them. Fr. Mathew Koyikal introduced them about the Vision of CBCI and various commissions. The group also visited Sacred Heart Cathedral and the Archbishop’s House, where Auxiliary Bishop Deepak Valerian Tauro interacted with them.


Daily Eucharistic celebrations were led by Fr. Denny George, the Shepherd of Santvana with Fr. Jaison Vadassey, CCBI Migrants Commission joining on one occasion


The participants also visited prominent sites including the Taj Mahal, Agra Fort, Rashtrapati Bhavan, and a rural area in Haryana, enriching their cultural and social exposure.


The programme concluded on May 1, 2026, with 31 students from various Latin dioceses of Kerala, including participants from the North East, accompanied by CSST sisters and a teacher.
