KRCBC Launches New Website to Strengthen Digital Presence

Mangaluru, 22 September 2025: The Karnataka Regional Catholic Bishops’ Council (KRCBC) launched its new website, https://krcbc.in/, to enhance the Church’s digital communication and outreach. The launch was officiated by Archbishop Peter Machado of Bangalore and President of KRCBC, in the presence of bishops from across Karnataka, regional secretaries, joint secretaries, and diocesan coordinators. The website aims to provide the faithful with comprehensive information about the Church’s life, mission, and activities in the region.

Developed to be modern, accessible, and user-friendly, the website features updates on KRCBC activities, pastoral resources, commission reports, statements, and upcoming events. It also serves as a platform for communication, transparency, and collaboration within the Church community.

Speaking at the launch, Archbishop Peter Machado emphasised the importance of a strong digital presence in the Church’s mission: “Today, the Church must be present where people are. Through this website, we wish to communicate the Good News effectively, engage with the faithful, and especially reach out to the younger generation.”

Under the guidance of Fr. Sudeep Paul MSFS, Director of Sandesha Foundation, the website was created with the dedicated contributions of students Sheldon Angelo Menezes, Jeswin Jacob Lobo, Glen Elric Fernandes, and Stalin Prevan Crasta. Their technical expertise and creativity gave the website its dynamic design and functionality.

The bishops and secretaries present praised the initiative as a significant step towards digital evangelisation and appreciated the involvement of youth in advancing the Church’s mission through technology and innovation.

The website https://krcbc.in/ is now live, offering a vibrant online space for information, interaction, and inspiration.
