Fr. Roselin Raja Appointed to CCBI Media Apostolate

New Delhi, 8 May 2026 (CCBI): The CCBI has appointed Rev. Dr. Fr. A. Roselin Raja as Associate Coordinator for the Media Apostolate, with special charge of Catholic Connect. The appointment was made during the Executive Committee meeting held on 5–6 May 2026 in Bangalore.

 

Fr. Roselin Raja, was born on 17 September 1979 and ordained on 8 April 2008, currently serves as Parish Priest at Ish Mata Mandir, Shivpur, in the diocese of Varanasi. He is also a Professor of Computer Application and Multimedia at Navsadhana Kala Kendra, affiliated with Indira Kala Sangeet Vishwavidyalaya, Khairagarh.

 

He holds an M.Sc. in Visual Communication from Loyola College, University of Madras, and a Ph.D. in Journalism and Mass Communication from Periyar University. His academic work includes research on digital media, mobile applications, and youth engagement, with several papers presented at national and international forums.

 

Fr. Roselin Raja has strong technical skills in multimedia production, including video editing, sound design, and digital content creation. He is proficient in research tools and has experience in app and website development, with a focus on communication strategies in the digital age.
