Day 20 of 40: Daily Encounters with Jesus

Mar 12, 2026: This Lent, let us step into a daily two-minute encounter with Jesus, guided by the intimate conversations recorded in St. Faustina’s Diary. Come, listen to His voice, and speak to Him from your heart.

Today Jesus says to you: “Before I come as the just Judge, I am coming first as the King of Mercy.” (Diary, 83)

Jesus reveals something extraordinary about His mission. Before the final judgment, He comes to the world with mercy.

His Heart desires to save, restore, and heal every soul willing to receive Him. Yet we often live as though we have endless time — another day to change, another season to pray more seriously, another opportunity to grow closer to God. The truth is, every day we wake up is already a gift of mercy.

This Lent reminds us that the time we have today is not guaranteed tomorrow. Jesus comes to us now, not first as Judge, but as the King of Mercy.

Ask Yourself:

Do I take for granted the time God has given me?

Do I judge others before showing them the mercy I myself receive?

Am I responding to the mercy Jesus is offering me today?

Pray: Jesus, reign as the King of Mercy in my heart.
