Mar 11, 2026: This Lent, let us step into a daily two-minute encounter with Jesus, guided by the intimate conversations recorded in St. Faustina’s Diary. Come, listen to His voice, and speak to Him from your heart.
Today Jesus says to you: “When you say this Chaplet in the presence of the dying, I will stand between My Father and the dying person.” (Diary, 1541)
Jesus reveals how deeply He desires to show mercy, especially at the moment when a soul needs it most. His Heart does not abandon us when life becomes fragile or uncertain.
But moments like that often come suddenly. One day someone is part of our ordinary life — speaking, working, laughing — and the next day they are gone. Life is far more fragile than we like to admit.
This is a quiet reality check for all of us. The world keeps moving quickly, but eternity is closer than we think. Souls are leaving this world every day, many without anyone remembering to pray for them.
This Lent, take a moment today to pray the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. Offer it for those who are dying, and for the souls who have already gone before us. Your prayer may be the mercy someone is waiting for.
Ask Yourself: Who in my life needs the mercy of Jesus today? How often do I pray for the dying and can I make it a habit to pray for them more frequently?
Pray: Jesus, pour Your mercy upon every soul in need.
