Bengaluru, October 28, 2025 — A Christian Leadership Seminar in the Synodal context was held from October 17 to 25, 2025, at the National Biblical, Catechetical and Liturgical Centre (NBCLC), Bengaluru, with 27 Marathi-speaking Catholic delegates from Maharashtra taking part.
The seminar, organised during the Month of the Rosary, was designed to provide holistic leadership formation to equip participants to serve in their families, parishes, dioceses and society, and to foster a faith-in-action lifestyle rooted in the spirit of Vatican II and Synodality.
The sessions focused on:
Christian leadership rooted in baptismal identity
Transforming faith into action at all levels of life
Leadership in family, parish and society
Eco-spiritual lifestyle and care for creation
This formation initiative was made possible by the Conference of Catholic Bishops of India (CCBI).
The seminar was coordinated by Fr. Nilesh Tuscano, Director of the Vasai Diocesan Catechetical Centre. It was guided by Fr. Bhushan Koli, Fr. Ronny Dabre and Fr. Joseph Gonsalves, and organised under the leadership of Fr. Joel D’Cunha, Director of Jeevan Darshan Kendra, Girij.
