Amravati, 12 March 2025 – The Bishop’s House community of Amravati Diocese, under the leadership of Bishop Malcolm Sequeira, organised a Chain Rosary on 9 March at the Bishop’s House in Amravati to pray for peace, unity, and the well-being of the Universal Church and the Diocese. The event saw participation from the Vicar General and Parish Priest of St. Xavier’s Cathedral, Rev. Fr. Ramsheen, along with priests and brothers from the Sacred Heart Minor Seminary.
In his address, Bishop Malcolm Sequeira emphasised the significance of collective prayer in bringing hope and healing.
A special prayer intention was offered for the good health of Pope Francis, seeking God’s grace to strengthen him in his ministry. The Rosary was conducted in a continuous format, with participants taking turns to ensure uninterrupted prayer throughout the day, fostering devotion and communal solidarity.
The Chain Rosary served as a testament to the community’s faith and commitment to praying for the Church and its leaders.
