Gwalior, 27 March, 2025 – St. Paul's Church in the Diocese of Gwalior hosted a Lenten retreat on 23 March for Catholic Catechism students, offering them spiritual guidance as they prepared for Holy Week. The event featured an orientation talk by Fr. Simon Raj, who helped the children reflect on the significance of Lent and their journey towards Easter.
Rt. Rev. Joseph Thykkattil presided over the Eucharistic celebration, urging participants in his homily to focus on both spiritual and personal growth as they approached Easter. Several priests were present to offer confession and spiritual counselling, ensuring that the students could deepen their faith.
Fr. Akash, the Catechism Director, organised the retreat, which brought together students from all parishes and mission stations of the diocese. The children actively participated in the liturgy, filling the church with hymns and prayers. The retreat provided a meaningful and joyful experience, strengthening the students' faith as they prepared for the most sacred time of the year.
