Atmadarshan joins food-relief initiative
Separately, Atmadarshan Foundation partnered with the Robin Hood Army, Indore, in an Independence Day food-relief initiative aimed at supporting families living in slum communities.
The collaboration formed part of the Robin Hood Army’s campaign to distribute five lakh meals in Indore. Atmadarshan supported the distribution of dry-ration kits to families in need.
Through Atmadarshan TV, the foundation distributes between 100 and 150 ration kits every month, each intended to provide dry rations for about two weeks. The initiative is supported by donors, while Fr Anand contributes the organisation’s monthly tithe to the programme.
The Robin Hood Army, founded in August 2014, works to address hunger and food wastage by collecting surplus food from restaurants and distributing it among people in need. The organisation operates in more than 220 cities across 16 countries.
