Agra Region Hosts Training of Trainers to Strengthen Youth Leadership in Jaipur

Jaipur, December 11, 2025 —

The Agra Regional Youth Commission conducted its Regional Training of Trainers (TOT) Programme in the Diocese of Jaipur, bringing together 75 youth leaders and animators from around 10 dioceses. The training aimed to strengthen youth leadership and reinforce the Church’s commitment to nurturing compassionate young leaders.

Centred on the annual theme “Walking in Compassion,” the programme focused on practical leadership skills and a deeper understanding of compassionate service within youth ministry. Sessions on Church leadership highlighted confidence, humility and empathy as essential qualities for those guiding young people.

A key feature of the event was the convening of the Regional Youth Council to elect the new Regional Executive Council (REXCO) for the 2025–27 term. The Commission expressed gratitude to the outgoing council for its service and contribution to youth ministry across the region.

The appointment of the new executive team marked the beginning of a renewed leadership phase, with expectations of strengthened collaboration and enhanced youth engagement.

The TOT concluded with participants expressing a shared commitment to advancing youth ministry throughout the Agra Region. The programme reaffirmed the region’s focus on service, teamwork and compassionate leadership as it prepares to empower the next generation of faith-driven young people.
