Young Religious Gather in Jabalpur for CRI Formees Meet

Jabalpur, October 6, 2025: The Conference of Religious India (CRI), Jabalpur Diocese Unit, brought together 85 young religious from multiple congregations on October 2 at Don Bosco Yuva Sadan for a full-day 'Formees Meet' under the theme, ‘Rooted in Christ, Growing Together in Love’. The event aimed to foster deeper spiritual formation, vocational understanding, and community bonding among the participants.


The Holy Mass was presided over by CRI President and Rector of Don Bosco Yuva Sadan, Fr. Bhushan Xalxo SDB. In his homily, Fr. Xalxo reflected on the role of the guardian angel and highlighted the significance of religious formation in the lives of young consecrated persons.


Fr. Bhushan Xalxo and CRI Secretary for the Diocese of Jabalpur, Fr. Thomas Antony O.Praem, shared encouraging remarks emphasising the importance of community, commitment, and shared faith in consecrated life.


The programme was highly participative, with formees engaging in group discussions and presentations based on various questionnaires. Young religious from congregations including the Norbertines, FMM, St. Joseph, SRA, and Salesians actively shared experiences, strengthening vocational bonds.


 Interactive sessions led by Fr. Livens Aind SDB and Sr. Dr. Alphy provided participants with practical insights into the day’s theme. Formees left the meet renewed in spirit, carrying with them a deeper commitment to their religious journey.
