Bhopal, April 11, 2025 — The Bhopal Archdiocesan Commission for Faith Formation conducted the Archdiocesan Level Faith Formation Annual Examination on April 10, 2025, at St. Joseph Co-Ed School, Arera Colony, Bhopal. The event witnessed the participation of approximately 300 catechism students from parishes across the Archdiocese of Bhopal. These students were selected based on their outstanding performances in the parish-level catechism exams. The Archdiocesan Level examination aimed to assess the participants' knowledge of the Catholic faith, Scripture, Sacraments, Church teachings, and moral values.
The examination was conducted in a disciplined and prayerful atmosphere, fostering a spirit of learning and healthy competition among the young faithful. A dedicated team of catechists, volunteers, and teachers ensured the smooth execution of the event, managing arrangements ranging from seating and invigilation to hospitality for participants and guests.
Rev. Fr. Antony John Benito, Secretary of the Commission for Faith Formation, extended heartfelt thanks to all parish priests, catechists, and parents for their unwavering support in nurturing the spiritual development of young Catholics of the diocese.
The results of the examination will be announced in due course of time. Students who secure top scores in the examination will be honoured during the Archdiocesan Annual Day 2025.
The event concluded with a thanksgiving prayer and a message of appreciation from the organisers, emphasising the importance of catechesis in building a strong and vibrant Church community.
