Jhansi, October 30, 2025 — The Feast of St. Jude at the historic Jhansi Shrine was celebrated with deep devotion and spiritual fervour, marking a profound expression of faith and unity in the Jubilee Year of Hope 2025.
The solemn Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Bishop Bhaskar Jesuraj of the Diocese of Meerut, who in his homily reflected on living the missionary spirit of hope amid trials. Drawing from the life of St. Jude, Patron of the Impossible, he called on the faithful to remain steadfast in prayer, compassion, and service, emphasising the Church’s synodal call to journey together as one pilgrim people of God.
The liturgy was broadcast live across the world through the joint efforts of the Catholic Diocese of Jhansi, St. Paul’s TV, Mumbai, and Trinity Chronicles, under the patronage of Bishop Wilfred Gregory Moras of Jhansi. The broadcast drew thousands of virtual participants, turning the shrine into a symbol of global communion and digital discipleship.
