Pope Francis has made a heartwarming return to public life, appearing in St. Peter's Square at the Vatican just two weeks after his discharge from the hospital. The 88-year-old pontiff, still recovering from double pneumonia, greeted cheering crowds from a wheelchair, with a breathing tube under his nose, saying "Hello to everybody" as he waved.
This marks a significant milestone in his recovery, following a five-week hospital stay and a recommended two-month rest period.
His voice sounded stronger compared to his remarks upon leaving Rome's Gemelli Hospital on March 23.
