Jesus Youth Launches Marriage Preparation Programme for Northeast Youth

Guwahati, 18 October 2026: Twenty-one young people from across Northeast India are participating in CHOICE 4.0, a three-day lifestyle orientation programme organised by the Jesus Youth National Family Stream to prepare young people for the Sacrament of Holy Matrimony.

The programme began on 17 October at DBIM, Guwahati, and will conclude on 19 October.

The participants reflected on personal and spiritual preparation for marriage on the opening day, focusing on faith as a foundation for Christian family life.

Archbishop John Moolachira of Guwahati attended the programme, blessed the participants and interacted with them. He also celebrated Holy Mass, encouraging the young people to approach marriage with faith and confidence.

Through CHOICE, the organisers seek to help young people understand the meaning of Christian marriage and prepare for a life of love, commitment and shared faith.
