Itanagar Diocese conducted Leadership Training for Youth Leaders

Itanagar, 7 April, 2025 -The Itanagar Diocesan Youth Commission successfully concluded a three-day Leadership Training Programme from 4 to 6 April 2025, empowering young leaders across the diocese for active service within their parishes and beyond.

Held with the participation of 40 young leaders from five deaneries, including FCC sisters and postulants, the programme offered dynamic sessions led by Adv. Fr. Simon Thaiko MSFS, Mr. Rajesh Tudu, and Ms. Magdalene, former Northeast Youth President. The training focused on leadership skills, spiritual formation, and practical strategies for youth ministry.

The initiative, facilitated by Team YUVODAYA under divine guidance, provided a fruitful experience for participants, encouraging them to embrace leadership roles with responsibility and vision. Participant evaluations praised the sessions’ impact, noting enhanced confidence and clarity in their mission.

Following the training, a Diocesan Youth Council meeting was held to discuss forthcoming youth programmes within and beyond the diocese, highlighting the growing momentum in diocesan youth engagement.

Fr. Roshan Bamin Peter, Diocesan Youth Director, expressed optimism: “This initiative builds capable young shepherds to lead the Church and transform society in Arunachal. We look forward to greater things unfolding in the diocese.”
