ICYM Rayagada Distributes 200 Food Packets to the Needy Ahead of Christmas

Rayagada, Odisha, December 30, 2025: Leaders of the Indian Catholic Youth Movement (ICYM), Rayagada Diocese, organised a Christmas outreach programme titled “Feed a Friend” in Rayagada town on December 24, reaching out to underprivileged and needy people.

As part of the initiative, 200 food packets were distributed in different parts of the town, reflecting the spirit of Christmas through acts of compassion and solidarity with those facing economic hardship. The programme underscored values of care, fraternity and service associated with the season.

ICYM leaders and volunteers carried out the distribution with dignity and sensitivity. Beneficiaries expressed appreciation for the timely support extended during the festive period.

The outreach reaffirmed ICYM’s commitment to social responsibility and highlighted the role of youth leadership in serving marginalised communities.
