Diocese of Gwalior Celebrates Bible Mahotsav and Annual Day

Gwalior, October 21, 2025 — The Commission for Faith Formation of the Diocese of Gwalior celebrated the Bible Mahotsav and Annual Day at St Paul’s Church, Morar, bringing together around 200 participants from parishes across the diocese for a day of reflection, learning, and celebration.

Fr Alfred D’Souza from the Diocese of Bhopal served as the resource person, guiding the faithful through enriching sessions on faith and the Word of God. His talks inspired participants to deepen their relationship with Scripture and live out their faith in daily life.

The celebration also marked the Commission’s Annual Day, featuring a vibrant cultural programme that highlighted the joy and unity of the diocesan community. Fr. Lawrence, VG of Gwalior graced the occasion as Chief Guest, offering words of encouragement and appreciation to the participants and organisers.

The day’s celebration was a meaningful expression of faith and fellowship, strengthening the diocesan community’s commitment to the Word of God and the mission of the Church.
