Day 4 of 40: Daily Encounters with Jesus

Feb 21, 2026: This Lent, let us step into a daily two-minute encounter with Jesus, guided by the intimate conversations recorded in St. Faustina’s Diary. Come, listen to His voice, and speak to Him from your heart.

Day 4: Today Jesus says to you: “When you suffer, know that I am close to you.” (Diary, 1516)

If you are carrying something heavy — a disappointment, a misunderstanding, a silent burden — hear what Jesus told St. Faustina: He is close to you in it. He did not promise a life without suffering, but He promised His presence within it.

Jesus also said, “You will save more souls through prayer and suffering than will a missionary through his teachings and sermons alone.” (Diary, 1767). Your hidden pain, united to Him, has eternal value.

Today, do not waste your suffering. Offer it. Unite it to His Cross. Let it become prayer.

Ask yourself: How can I let Jesus carry this with me? Can I turn this pain or worry into prayer?

Prayer: Jesus, help me remember that You are always near and that I am never alone.

Share this with a friend and invite them into today’s two-minute encounter with Jesus.
