Ascension Press Announces New Job Openings Across Media, Publishing and Catholic Education

Exton, Pennsylvania, September 18, 2026: What if your professional skills could do more than build a career? What if they could help families grow in faith, support Catholic schools and parishes, and contribute to the work of evangelisation?

That is the question worth asking as Ascension Press announces one of its largest rounds of job openings in some time.

The Catholic publisher is currently recruiting for six full-time positions, all based remotely in the United States, with some roles requiring occasional travel to its headquarters in Exton, Pennsylvania.

From a small beginning to a Catholic media presence

Ascension Press has grown into a significant name in Catholic publishing and faith formation. Founded in 1998, the organisation began with a focus on creating resources that could help Catholics understand and live their faith. Over the years, its work has expanded across books, parish resources, Catholic school materials, Bible studies, digital content, video and other forms of faith formation.

Today, Ascension serves Catholics through a broad range of resources designed for individuals, families, parishes, schools and small groups. Its media work, including the Ascension Presents brand, has also helped bring Catholic teaching and conversations about faith to digital audiences.

The organisation describes its work simply: serving its audience through its mission, with the hope that changed lives can lead to changed families and, ultimately, a changed culture.

What jobs are currently available?

The current openings reveal just how varied the work behind Catholic publishing and evangelisation can be.

Ascension is seeking an Amazon E-Commerce Specialist to manage and develop its Amazon presence, including product listings, discoverability, advertising and performance.

A Digital Media Product Manager will oversee media projects from the initial idea through production and publication, ensuring that content is faithful to Catholic teaching while also engaging digital audiences.

For those with a passion for words, the Editor – Parish Products role involves developing and editing Catholic resources, working with authors and ensuring theological accuracy and consistency.

There is also an opening for a Salesperson, Schools, focused on building relationships with Catholic schools and helping educators discover Ascension's curriculum and faith-formation resources.

Creative professionals may be interested in the Video Editor and Video Producer positions. These roles involve everything from editing and publishing digital content to planning shoots, managing production and creating videos for parish and Catholic family audiences.

More than simply a job?

Ascension says its work is driven by three core values: humility, passion and integrity. It also highlights its workplace culture, noting that it has been recognised as a Great Place to Work since 2021 and appeared on Fortune's Top 100 Best Small Workplaces lists in 2023 and 2024.

The organisation offers benefits including healthcare, retirement plans, paid time off, family leave, professional development and remote working.

For Catholics wondering whether their professional talents might have a place in evangelisation, this could be an intriguing opportunity.
