Zo Language Service Celebrates RVA Day in Manipur

Manipur , November 17, 2025: Zo Language Service celebrated RVA (Radio Veritas Asia) Day in Manipur to strengthen faith and restore stability among internally displaced persons (IDPs). The gathering brought together participants from across the Zo community, representing multiple denominations. Support came from St Thomas Parish Singngat, Singngat youths, and the Zo Catholic Union Manipur.

The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Fr. Paul Lelen, priest-in-charge of Don Bosco College, Lamka, and concelebrated by Fr. Mark Ai, founder and former coordinator of RVA Zo Service, Fr Mung, current coordinator, and five priests.

In his homily, Fr. Paul emphasised the call to uphold truth with compassion, reminding participants that “speaking the truth with love and integrity” is essential for anyone who follows the Son of God. He highlighted RVA as the only Catholic media platform in Manipur, commending milestones such as the Zou Audio Bible, the first from Manipur on the BibleOn App.

During the gathering, Fr. Mung presented updates on RVA’s outreach mission and expressed gratitude for the community’s ongoing support.

Several honours were presented, including eight BibleOn Audio Mission Awards, a recognition for an individual who has shared daily Bible verses for 15 consecutive years on the RVA WhatsApp group, and a special appreciation for a community member who provided notable social service to IDPs during periods of crisis.

The Zo Catholic Union (ZCUM) and the Zou Literature and Liturgical Committee (ZCLLC) jointly acknowledged the dedicated service of the RVA team, presenting traditional Zou mufflers to Fr. Mark Ai and Fr. Mung as a gesture of deep appreciation.
