Youth Leaders of Shimoga Diocese Meet to Plan Future Initiatives

Shivamogga, November 3, 2025 — Youth leaders of the diocese of Shimoga gathered at Yuvamitra, Shivamogga, on November 2 for a key meeting of the ICYM Diocesan Executive Committee (DEXCO) and YCS/YSM. The meeting focused on planning major youth initiatives for the year ahead while remembering young lives lost in recent times.

Fr. Franklin D’Souza, diocesan Youth Director, celebrated the Holy Eucharist and offered prayers for the departed youth of the diocese. In his message, he reflected on the sanctity of life and urged young people to anchor their lives in faith and prayer.

Leaders then moved into strategic discussions, setting the agenda for the coming year. The topics included:
