Three-Day Lenten Retreat Held at St. Catherine’s Church, Thiruppur, Coimbatore Diocese

Thiruppur, 11 March, 2025 – St. Catherine’s Church in Thiruppur hosted a three-day Lenten retreat from 7th to 9th March, offering parishioners a time of spiritual renewal and preparation for Lent. The retreat featured profound scriptural reflections, Eucharistic adoration, and sessions on repentance and faith, encouraging the faithful to deepen their relationship with Christ and embrace the season of grace with sincerity.

Fr. Austin Joy MSFS led the retreat, emphasising the true essence of Lent as a time for repentance, spiritual renewal, and a deeper connection with Christ. He encouraged the faithful to embrace prayer, fasting, and almsgiving with sincerity. 

Fr. Arul, the Parish Priest, Fr. Sahayaraj, the Assistant Parish Priest, and Deacon Rosario played a key role in organising the retreat, coordinating with the retreat team to ensure its smooth and meaningful execution.

Parishioners actively engaged in the sessions, deepening their faith and embracing the season of grace with renewed devotion and spiritual commitment.
