Even from youth, Teresa saw holiness as a fusion of courage and affection—a vision later expressed through her mystical imagery of the Interior Castle, where the soul’s journey is fuelled by creativity and contemplation.

In our noisy age, her testimony reveals the power of silence and spiritual friendship—transforming discouragement into trust and suffering into service. Teresa’s Interior Castle remains a concrete roadmap for all who seek to encounter God within, offering healing to a world in search of true hope.
