St. Joseph’s Novena Begins Today: Entrust Your Intentions to the Guardian of the Holy Family

March 10, 2026: The Gospels record no spoken words of St. Joseph, yet his life speaks volumes. When God asked him to protect Mary and the Child Jesus, he responded not with questions or hesitation, but with quiet and faithful action. In moments of uncertainty, Joseph trusted God and did what was asked of him. March 10 marks the beginning of the Novena to St. Joseph, a nine-day journey of prayer leading to the Feast of St. Joseph on March 19.

Because of this deep trust, the Church has long turned to him as a protector of families, patron of workers, and a powerful helper in times of need. For the next nine days, you are invited to walk with St. Joseph in prayer.

At the same time, this novena is not only about asking for favours — it is also an invitation to grow spiritually. Let us make a conscious choice during these nine days to imitate St. Joseph, striving to grow in humility, holiness, gentleness, obedience to God, and faithful care for those entrusted to us.

St. Joseph’s life reminds us that holiness is often found not in extraordinary acts, but in faithfully doing the small things God asks of us each day.
