St Joseph's Church, Greater Noida, UP, Guides Youth and Newlyweds in Faith and Commitment

Greater Noida, February 24, 2025: St. Joseph’s Church organised a special gathering for youth and newlywed couples, combining spiritual reflection, entertainment, and community engagement on February 23. The celebration featured a vibrant entrance dance, a solemn candle procession by newlywed couples and youth, the Holy Mass and engaging faith-based activities.

Rev. Fr. Ashish John presided over the Eucharistic celebration, delivering a sermon on the theme "Hearts in Conflict." He urged the congregation to trust the voice of the heart when faced with internal struggles, as it aligns with a life of grace. Emphasising the importance of kindness beyond expectation, he referenced Christ’s teachings: "Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you." Fr. John outlined four essential virtues for a faithful Christian life: Discipline, Responsibility, Patience, and Faith.

The event featured interactive games designed to reinforce the day’s message, including a challenge where participants gathered items representing each letter of the alphabet to symbolise the four virtues highlighted in the sermon. Youth members and newlywed couples actively took part, presenting their items and explaining their significance. The event concluded with a spirit of joy and gratitude, as attendees expressed appreciation for the enriching and memorable experience.
