Rahul Gandhi Visits Apostolic Nunciature to Offer Condolences on Pope Francis' Passing

New Delhi, 25 April 2025 – Rahul Gandhi, Leader of the Opposition, visited the Apostolic Nunciature in New Delhi to offer his condolences following the passing of His Holiness Pope Francis. During his visit, Gandhi expressed his sympathy and paid respects to the late Pope, reflecting on his leadership and contributions to the global Catholic community.

Gandhi also took the opportunity to meet with His Excellency Archbishop Dr. Leopoldo Girelli, the Apostolic Nuncio to India and Nepal, as well as his team. The meeting was a gesture of solidarity and a recognition of the Vatican's enduring ties with India.
