Pope’s Condition Stable as Treatment Continues

Vatican City, 7 March, 2025: The Holy See Press Office confirmed Friday that Pope Francis remains stable as he receives treatment for bilateral pneumonia at Rome's Gemelli Hospital. He has no respiratory insufficiency and continues respiratory and motor physiotherapy with positive effects. His vital signs and blood tests remain stable, and he is fever-free, though doctors maintain a cautious prognosis.

The next medical update is expected Saturday. Throughout the day, the Pope balanced work with rest and prayer, receiving the Eucharist before lunch.
