Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Halasuru, Bengaluru, Celebrates Annual Feast with Splendour

Bengaluru, February 13, 2025 – The annual feast of Our Lady of Lourdes Church, Halasuru, was celebrated with grandeur on February 9, 2025. The festivities commenced on January 31 with great devotion as Rev. Fr. Gnanamani Roys, parish priest of Our Lady of Fatima Church, Jalahalli, Bengaluru, hoisted the traditional flag, marking the start of the sacred celebrations.

For nine days, the faithful gathered for a novena dedicated to special prayer intentions, with the Rosary drawing numerous devotees seeking Mother Mary’s intercession. The prayers created an atmosphere of deep spirituality and reflection.

On February 9, 2025, the feast day celebrations culminated in a solemn trilingual Holy Mass, officiated by Rev. Fr. Devdass, parish priest of St. John the Evangelist Church, J.C. Nagar, Bengaluru. Conducted in English, Tamil, and Kannada, the Eucharistic celebration brought together a large congregation, united in faith and devotion.

Following the Mass, a grand procession filled the streets with hymns and chants as the faithful recited the Rosary and offered prayers to Mother Mary. The celebrations concluded with a solemn Benediction, leaving devotees spiritually enriched and blessed.

The feast of Our Lady of Lourdes Church stood as a testament to faith, unity, and Mother Mary’s powerful intercession. May her grace continue to bless and guide all who seek her protection.
