Jhabua Youth Celebrate Birsa Munda Jayanti

Jhabua, Madhya Pradesh, November 17, 2025 — Celebrating Janajatiya Gaurav Diwas and the birth anniversary of tribal freedom hero Birsa Munda, the Youth Commission of the Catholic Diocese of Jhabua organised a vibrant Bhil Tribal Dance Competition that drew enthusiastic participation from across the district and neighbouring regions. The event showcased the richness of Bhil culture, traditional attire, and indigenous dance forms, offering young performers a meaningful platform to celebrate their heritage.

The celebration was graced by the presence of Bishop Peter Kharadi of the diocese of Jhabua, Akshay Kamliya, Youth President of the Thandla Assembly Constituency, and several eminent community leaders. Their presence elevated the occasion, and each guest commended the enthusiasm of young participants and the initiative’s role in promoting tribal heritage and strengthening communal unity.
