Day 9 of 40: Daily Encounters with Jesus

Feb 27, 2026: This Lent, let us step into a daily two-minute encounter with Jesus, guided by the intimate conversations recorded in St. Faustina’s Diary. Come, listen to His voice, and speak to Him from your heart.

Today Jesus says to you: “I desire that you know more profoundly the love that burns in My Heart for souls.” (Diary, 186)

Life may feel busy, crowded, and constantly demanding — deadlines, expectations, notifications, and responsibilities pulling you in every direction. In the middle of all this, Jesus is not asking you to do more. He is inviting you to go deeper.

You may already know that God loves you. Yet knowing it in your mind is different from allowing that love to reach your wounded, tired, and anxious heart.

Often, what blocks this encounter is our need to stay in control — to understand everything, fix everything, and manage life on our own terms. Lent gently teaches us to loosen that grip.

Today, pause. Stop striving for a moment. Let Jesus love you exactly where you are, without resistance.

Ask Yourself: Where am I resisting His love? Can I surrender my will to Him today?

Pray: Jesus, deepen my trust in Your love.
