VATICAN CITY, 21 April: Pope Francis died of a stroke, followed by a coma and cardiovascular collapse (likely from his ongoing fight against pneumonia and other comorbidities).

I certify that His Holiness Francis (Jorge Mario Bergoglio) born in Buenos Aires (Argentina) on 18 December 1936, Resident in Vatican City, passed away at 7:35 de day 21/04/2025 in his apartment at the Domus Santa Marta (Vatican City) from:

- CEREBRAL STROKE

- COMA

- IRREVERSIBLE CARDIOVASCULAR COLLAPSE.

In subject suffering from:

- Previous episode of acute respiratory failure in bilateral multimicrobial pneumonia

- Multiple bronchiectases

   Hypertension arteriosus

   Diabetes type I

Determination of death was made by electrocardiographic recording.
