Goa, October 10, 2025: Four new books on education were released by the CBCI Office for Education and Culture during the concluding session of the 56th National Convention of the All India Association of Catholic Schools (AINACS) held at the Park Regis Convention Centre, Arpora, Goa. The release was led by Bishop Elias Gonsalves of Nagpur and Chairman of the CBCI Office for Education and Culture.
The event was graced by Fr. Shinoj Kizhakkemuryil TOR, President of AINACS; Fr. Maria Charles, Executive Secretary of the CBCI Office for Education and Culture; and members of the AINACS Executive Committee. Sr. Ophelia Lobo introduced the publications and anchored the ceremony.
The publications released include Catholic Educators – Heralds of Transforming Education (Proceedings of the CCBI National Symposium on National Education), edited by Fr. Maria Charles, and Education 5.0 – Nurturing Gen-Next for Excellence and Service (Proceedings from the CBCI National Consultation on Education), also edited by Fr. Maria Charles.
The other two titles are Saint Educators – The Story of Holiness and Education in the Church, compiled by Fr. Maria Charles and Brandon Arnold John, and The Teachings of the Catholic Church on Education (Church’s Most Significant Magisterial Documents on Education), compiled by Fr. Maria Charles and Brandon Arnold John.
Printed and distributed by ATC Publishers, Bengaluru, the books are now available for purchase through the publisher. The books will also soon be available to order online through Joyofgifting.
