A Day of Prayer and Spiritual Direction for Salem’s Minor Seminarians

Salem, February 15, 2025— Minor seminarians in Salem participated in a day of recollection led by Fr. M. Selvam, focusing on spiritual renewal and vocational growth. The program included prayer, guidance, and personal reflection to help deepen their faith. 

The day opened with the Rosary, setting a prayerful tone, followed by an insightful talk on spiritual direction. The seminarians then took part in adoration and confession, culminating in the celebration of Holy Mass. A fellowship lunch provided an opportunity for community bonding. 

During the afternoon session, seminarians had one-on-one counselling with the priest, offering them a meaningful opportunity to seek guidance, clarity, and support in their spiritual journey. The recollection aimed to strengthen the seminarians’ formation and encourage deeper reflection on their calling to the priesthood.
