A Life Dedicated to Youth and Mission

Fr. Vincent’s journey was marked by profound faith and relentless service. During his tenure as National Chaplain of YCS/YSM India from 1989 to 1995, and later as Asian Chaplain of the International Young Catholic Students (IYCS), from 2003 to 2006, he mentored countless students, guiding them through faith-based social action and helping them realize their potential as agents of social transformation.

Champion of the ‘See, Judge, Act’ Methodology

Fr. Vincent passionately upheld the YCS-YSM movement’s core methodology: "See, Judge, Act." He believed this approach was not just a method but a way of life — guiding young people to observe the realities around them, discern with a Christian conscience, and take meaningful action to build a just and compassionate society. Through this dynamic process, he formed generations of leaders who lived their faith actively in schools, colleges, and communities.

A Shepherd with a Heart for the Young

To those who knew him, Fr. Vincent was more than a leader; he was a true shepherd. His humility, kindness, and unwavering presence made him a trusted companion to young people navigating life’s challenges. He listened deeply to their hopes and struggles and encouraged them to lead with values of justice, peace, and love.

A Legacy That Continues to Inspire

The impact of Fr. Vincent’s ministry extends far beyond the years of his official service. The seeds he sowed continue to flourish in the lives of thousands of YCS/YSM members across India. His dream of a society renewed by conscious, committed young people remains the guiding light of our movement.

Today, as he enters the eternal embrace of God, we give thanks for his life, his wisdom, and his witness. We celebrate his enduring legacy and pledge to carry forward his mission with renewed dedication.

Rest in peace, dear Father. Your faith, love, and guidance will forever live in our hearts. Until we meet again in the light of Christ.
