Veneration of the Jubilee Cross Held at Infant Jesus Shrine, Bhopal

Bhopal, February 7, 2025 – As part of the Jubilee Year 2025 celebrations, a special prayer service was held at the Infant Jesus Shrine, Bhopal, on Friday, February 7, at 6:00 p.m. During this sacred event, the Jubilee Pilgrim Cross was venerated by members of the faithful who had gathered in large numbers. The service included a solemn procession and Holy Mass, offering a profound spiritual experience to all in attendance.


The Jubilee Cross, brought from Holy Family Church on February 1, was placed at the shrine for public veneration for a week, providing the faithful with an opportunity for reflection and devotion.


The prayer service commenced with an introductory address by Fr. John Benito, the parish priest, who emphasized the deep spiritual significance of the Jubilee Cross and its role as a symbol of hope and redemption for believers.


Following the introductory prayers, the faithful were invited to individually venerate the Cross. The solemn atmosphere was further enriched as the Jubilee Cross was carried in procession to the church, symbolizing Christ’s journey and sacrifice. The evening concluded with Holy Mass and Adoration, allowing parishioners to immerse themselves in prayer and reflection.


A significant number of parishioners participated in the prayer service, making it a truly blessed and memorable event.
