Sisters of St. Joseph of Annecy Honoured by Former Students Turned Priests

Bhubaneswar, October 13, 2025: Priests who were former students of St. Joseph of Annecy from Cuttack-Bhubaneswar, honoured the Sisters of St. Joseph of Annecy (SJA) on 12 October, for 375 years of service. The tribute celebrated their nurturing at St. Vincent’s Orphanage, Mondasoro, Odisha.

“Hail to our Sisters of St. Joseph of Annecy (SJA) whose nurturing hands shaped our childhood at St. Vincent’s Orphanage Mondasoro,” said Fr.Dushmonth Nayak.

Fr. Manoj Nayak, Parish Priest of Our Lady of Miraculous Medal, Mondasoro, noted the sisters’ care extended beyond education, offering love and hope to orphans, reflecting Christ’s words: “Whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.” Their example unites faith and service.
