Bengaluru, Sept. 24, 2025: The Karnataka Regional Youth Commission (KRYC) hosted an online seminar titled “Mindset Matters” on 22nd September 2025. The event formed part of a series of online sessions being held by the KRYC in the run-up to the 13th Regional Youth Convention and 40th Jubilee Celebration, which will be held in Karwar from October 2 to 5, 2025. The online session, led by psychologist, counsellor, and research scholar Ms. Ananya S. M., brought together fifty young participants from across the Karnataka Region, along with members of the regional team, to explore the powerful role that having a positive mindset plays in fostering personal growth.
During the interactive session, Ms. Ananya highlighted how beliefs and thought patterns influence behaviour, motivation, and resilience. She also emphasised the subtle differences in mindsets and explained how shifting perspectives can lead to transformation and self-development. A notable highlight of the session was the thought-provoking statement made by Ananya: “Our eyes can only see what our mind knows.”
Using real-life examples, Ms. Ananya made the content of the session relatable and impactful, encouraging the participants to adopt a positive, growth-oriented approach to life. The session successfully fulfilled its objective of empowering the youth by fostering resilience and promoting constructive thinking.
