Day 6 of 40: Daily Encounters with Jesus

Feb 24, 2026: This Lent, let us step into a daily two-minute encounter with Jesus, guided by the intimate conversations recorded in St. Faustina’s Diary. Come, listen to His voice, and speak to Him from your heart.

Day 6: Today Jesus says to you, “Let no soul fear to draw near to Me, even though its sins be as scarlet.” (Diary, 699)

We are often tempted to stay at a distance — because of weakness, guilt, or repeated struggles. But Jesus told St. Faustina clearly: do not be afraid to come to Him. His mercy is not reserved for the strong; it is poured out for the needy.

Fear pushes you away. Trust draws you closer. Let this lent not be a season of hiding — instead, let us make it a season of returning. Today, approach Him exactly as you are.

Ask Yourself: Is fear keeping me from drawing close to Jesus? Can I trust His mercy more than I trust my guilt?

Pray: Jesus, help me to choose trust over fear. Teach me to focus on your love and mercy, instead of my flaws and weaknesses.
