Bishop Rayarala Vijaya Kumar Celebrates Pre-Christmas with Orphans in Srikakulam

Srikakulam, December 24, 2025: The spirit of Christmas was marked with joy and compassion as Rayarala Vijaya Kumar, Bishop of the Diocese of Srikakulam, celebrated Pre-Christmas with the children of Mother Teresa Home Orphanage on Monday.

The Bishop spent time with the children, sharing the Christmas message of love, hope and care. Addressing the gathering, he reflected on God’s love revealed through the birth of Jesus Christ and encouraged acts of compassion and service, especially towards those in need.

As part of the celebration, the Bishop distributed Christmas gifts to the children. The programme also featured Christmas carols and cultural performances presented by the children.

The Sisters of Mother Teresa Home expressed their gratitude to the Bishop and those involved for making the Semi-Christmas celebration meaningful for the children.
