Admissions Open for Sanyasa Institute, Carmelaram

Carmelaram, Karnataka, 2 May 2025: The Institute of Consecrated Life – Sanyasa (ICLS) offers an academic programme aimed at deepening the understanding of the consecrated life in the Church, drawing insights from Scripture, the Magisterium, tradition, and diverse theological perspectives, with the goal of renewing and strengthening those living a consecrated vocation.

The institute is now accepting applications for its two-year Licentiate (M.Th) in the Theology of Consecrated Life, offered under the aegis of the Pontifical Lateran University, Rome. ICLS also offers a nine-month Diploma in the same field.

ICLS is the only institute in South Asia offering postgraduate degrees specifically in the theology of consecrated life. It is one of six Claretian institutes worldwide dedicated to this specialisation in theology.

The new academic year commences on 29 June 2025.

The institute welcomes professors and students from around the world into a vibrant community, with renowned international theologians on its faculty.
