ಶಂಭೂರ್ ಚರ್ಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೂತನ ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ | New Church Toilet Facility Inaugurated

ಶಂಭೂರ್ ಪವಿತ್ರ ಹೃದಯ ಯೇಸು ಚರ್ಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೂತನವಾಗಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಲಾದ ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವನ್ನು 2026ರ ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 6ರಂದು ಪವಿತ್ರ ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆಯ ನಂತರ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಚರ್ಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹಳೆಯ ಮಾದರಿಯ ಶೌಚಾಲಯಗಳು ವೃದ್ಧರು ಹಾಗೂ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲಕರವಾಗಿರದ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, ನೂತನ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸುವ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಇದರ ಶಿಲಾನ್ಯಾಸವನ್ನು 2026ರ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 12ರಂದು ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆಯ ನಂತರ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಪಾಲನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಧರ್ಮಗುರುಗಳು ರಿಬ್ಬನ್ ಕತ್ತರಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ನೂತನ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವನ್ನು ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ, ಪವಿತ್ರ ಜಲದಿಂದ ಆಶೀರ್ವದಿಸಿದರು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಸುಜಯ್ ಲೋಬೊ ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.

ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಉದಾರವಾಗಿ ದೇಣಿಗೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ದಾನಿಗಳನ್ನು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿ ಗೌರವಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಪಾಲನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಶಾಂತಿ ಅವರು ದಾನಿಗಳು, ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಕಾರ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೈಜೋಡಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು.

ನೂತನ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪುರುಷರಿಗಾಗಿ 4 ಯೂರಿನಲ್‌ಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ 2 ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ವಾಶ್‌ರೂಮ್‌ಗಳು, ಮಹಿಳೆಯರಿಗಾಗಿ 3 ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ವಾಶ್‌ರೂಮ್‌ಗಳು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸ್ನಾನ ಮಾಡುವ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವೂ ಇದೆ. ಚರ್ಚಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುವ ವಿವಿಧ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳು, ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ರೋಸ್ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವು ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಅನುಕೂಲವಾಗಲಿದೆ.

ಅಲ್ಪಾವಧಿಯಲ್ಲೇ ಈ ಅಗತ್ಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವನ್ನು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಳಿಸಲು ಶ್ರಮಿಸಿದ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಪಾಲನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಬಿಲ್ಡಿಂಗ್ ಕಮಿಟಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಅಭಿನಂದಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ದಾನಿಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಇದೀಗ ನೂತನ ಶೌಚಾಲಯ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯವು ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಪ್ಯಾರಿಷ್ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಬಳಕೆಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಿದೆ.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಕಮಿಟಿ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಭಕ್ತಾದಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತಿಂಡಿ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. 🙏✨

New Church Toilet Facility Inaugurated at Shamboor

On 6 September 2026, following the Holy Mass, the newly constructed toilet facility at Shamboor Church was officially inaugurated. The foundation stone for the facility was laid on 12 March 2026, and the project was completed within a short period through the dedicated efforts of the Pastoral Parishad Committee and Building Committee.

The inauguration ceremony began with the cutting of the ribbon by the parish priest, followed by the blessing of the new facility with holy water. The program was compered by Sujai Lobo.

During the ceremony, all the generous donors and well-wishers who contributed towards the construction of the facility were honoured and appreciated. Shanthi, Secretary of the Pastoral Parishad Committee, expressed her gratitude to everyone who donated, supported, and worked towards making the project possible.

The new facility has been designed to meet the needs of all parishioners. It includes four urinals and two toilet-attached washrooms for men, and three toilet-attached washrooms for women. The facility also includes shower facilities, which will be particularly useful during parish functions and occasions where such a facility was previously unavailable.

Special appreciation was expressed to the Pastoral Parishad Committee and Building Committee for their commitment and efforts in completing the project within a short time. The facility is now ready for use by all parishioners.

The celebration concluded with snacks being served to all parishioners by the Parish Finance Committee. The completion of this much-needed facility marks another valuable step towards improving the amenities and comfort of the parish community. 🙏✨
