ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟಿನ ಸಂಭ್ರಮ – Vado Ho Amcho Season 3

ಮಾತೆ ಮರಿಯಮ್ಮನವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವಾದ ನೇಟಿವಿಟಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ಪ್ರಯುಕ್ತ, ICYM ಶಂಬೂರು ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಪ್ರತಿವರ್ಷದ ಸಂಪ್ರದಾಯದಂತೆ ಈ ವರ್ಷವೂ “ವಾಡೋ ಹೊ ಅಮ್ಚೋ – ಸೀಸನ್ 3” ಎಂಬ ಒಂದು ದಿನದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಾರ್ಡ್‌ಗಳ ಬಾಂಧವ್ಯ, ಸ್ನೇಹ ಹಾಗೂ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಬೆಳೆಸುವ ಉದ್ದೇಶದಿಂದ ವಿವಿಧ ವಾರ್ಡ್‌ವಾರು ಆಟಗಳು, ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಮನರಂಜನಾ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು.

ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 13ರಂದು ಪ್ರಥಮ ಬಲಿಪೂಜೆಯ ನಂತರ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಬೆಳಗಿನ ಉಪಾಹಾರವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು.

ಪ್ರಾರ್ಥನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಗಾಯನದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಚಾಲನೆ ನೀಡಲಾಯಿತು. ನಂತರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆಯನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನೆರವೇರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಬ್ಯಾನರ್‌ಗೆ ಅಲಂಕರಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದ ಬಲೂನುಗಳನ್ನು ಗಣ್ಯರು ಒಟ್ಟಾಗಿ ಒಡೆದು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿದರು. ಬಳಿಕ ಗಣ್ಯರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ “ವಾಡೋ ಹೊ ಅಮ್ಚೋ – ಸೀಸನ್ 3”ರ ಟ್ರೋಫಿಯ ಅನಾವರಣ ನಡೆಯಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಂದನೀಯ ಫಾ. ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ – ICYM ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು; ಗಾಡ್‌ಫ್ರಿ ಪಾಶಾನ್ – ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಪಾಲನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು; ಸುಜೈ ಲೋಬೊ – 21 ಪಾಲನಾ ಸಮಿತಿಗಳ ಸಂಯೋಜಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂತ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು; ಮೆಲ್ವಿನ್ ಪೈಸ್ – ICYM ಅನಿಮೇಟರ್; ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಮ್ ಲೋಬೊ – ಕ್ಯಾಥೋಲಿಕ್ ಸಭಾ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರು; ಆ್ಯಸ್ಟನ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ – ICYM ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ; ಮ್ಯಾಕ್ಸಿಮ್ ಪಿಂಟೊ – ಸಂತ ಸೆಬಾಸ್ಟಿಯನ್ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು; ಹಾಗೂ ಅರುಣ್ ವೇಗಸ್ – ಸೇಕ್ರೆಡ್ ಹಾರ್ಟ್ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

ನಂತರ ಗಾಡ್‌ಫ್ರಿ ಪಾಶಾನ್ ಅವರು ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು. ಇದೇ ದಿನ ವಂದನೀಯ ಫಾ. ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದರಿಂದ, ಅವರ ಜನ್ಮದಿನವನ್ನು ವಿಶೇಷವಾಗಿ ಆಚರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಗಣ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟುಹಬ್ಬದ ಕೇಕ್ ಕತ್ತರಿಸಿ ಶುಭಾಶಯಗಳನ್ನು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಬಳಿಕ ಫಾ. ಸಂತೋಷ್ ಡಿಸೋಜಾ ಅವರು ಸಭೆಯನ್ನುದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಸಂದೇಶವನ್ನು ಹಂಚಿಕೊಂಡರು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಅಂತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಆ್ಯಸ್ಟನ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಅವರು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಗಣ್ಯರು, ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಹಾಗೂ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿಗೆ ಸಹಕರಿಸಿದ ಎಲ್ಲರಿಗೂ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದರು. ವೇದಿಕೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ರಾಯ್ ಪಾಶಾನ್ ಅವರು ನಿರೂಪಿಸಿದರು.

ವೇದಿಕೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ನಂತರ ಬಹು ನಿರೀಕ್ಷಿತ ವಾರ್ಡ್‌ವಾರು ಆಟಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳು ಆರಂಭಗೊಂಡವು. ವಿವಿಧ ಆಟಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳನ್ನು ಜೋಸ್ವಿನ್ ವೇಗಸ್, ಟೆಲನ್ ಪಾಶಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಜೋಶುವಾ ಬ್ಯಾಪ್ಟಿಸ್ಟ್ ಅವರು ಸಂಯೋಜಿಸಿ ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ನಾಲ್ಕು ವಾರ್ಡ್‌ಗಳ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಮನೋಭಾವದಿಂದ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಿದರು.

ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಸದಸ್ಯರಿಗೆ ಸಾಮೂಹಿಕ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ಊಟವನ್ನು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ನಂತರ ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನದ ಅವಧಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಲಿಬಾಲ್, ಥ್ರೋಬಾಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಹಗ್ಗಜಗ್ಗಾಟ ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ವಿವಿಧ ಹೊರಾಂಗಣ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳು ನಡೆದವು. ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಾರ್ಡ್‌ಗಳ ಸದಸ್ಯರು ಉತ್ಸಾಹದಿಂದ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡರು.

ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ ವಿಶೇಷ ಆಟಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ 8ರಂದು ನೇಟಿವಿಟಿ ಹಬ್ಬದ ದಿನದಂದು ಮಧ್ಯಾಹ್ನ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜೇತರಾದ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೂ “ವಾಡೋ ಹೊ ಅಮ್ಚೋ – ಸೀಸನ್ 3”ರ ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಆಟಗಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳು ಪೂರ್ಣಗೊಂಡ ಬಳಿಕ ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭ ಮತ್ತು ಬಹುಮಾನ ವಿತರಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ನಡೆಯಿತು. ವಿವಿಧ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜೇತರಾದವರಿಗೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧೆಗಳ ವಿಜೇತರಿಗೆ ಬಹುಮಾನಗಳನ್ನು ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು.

ಒಟ್ಟು ಅಂಕಗಳ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಸೇಕ್ರೆಡ್ ಹಾರ್ಟ್ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್‌ಶಿಪ್ ಗೆದ್ದುಕೊಂಡಿತು. ಸಂತ ಅಂತೋನಿ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ರನ್ನರ್-ಅಪ್ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡರೆ, ಸಂತ ಸೆಬಾಸ್ಟಿಯನ್ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ಮೂರನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಂತ ಜೋಸೆಫ್ ವಾರ್ಡ್ ನಾಲ್ಕನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನವನ್ನು ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿತು.

ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಕೊನೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆ್ಯಸ್ಟನ್ ಫೆರ್ನಾಂಡಿಸ್ ಅವರು ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಬೆಂಬಲ ನೀಡಿದ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಾಯೋಜಕರಿಗೆ ಹೃತ್ಪೂರ್ವಕ ಕೃತಜ್ಞತೆ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯ ಸಹಕಾರಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ಸನ್ಮಾನಿಸಿದರು.

ಕೊನೆಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಸೇರಿ ಸಂತೋಷದಿಂದ ಬೈಲಾ ನೃತ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಸಂಭ್ರಮದ ವಾತಾವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಮುಕ್ತಾಯಗೊಂಡಿತು.

“ವಾಡೋ ಹೊ ಅಮ್ಚೋ – ಸೀಸನ್ 3” ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವು ಶಂಬೂರು ಚರ್ಚಿನ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ವಾರ್ಡ್‌ಗಳ ಸದಸ್ಯರನ್ನು ಒಂದೇ ವೇದಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಗ್ಗೂಡಿಸಿ, ಸ್ನೇಹ, ಸಹೋದರತ್ವ, ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಮನೋಭಾವ ಮತ್ತು ಸಮುದಾಯದ ಒಗ್ಗಟ್ಟನ್ನು ಮತ್ತಷ್ಟು ಬಲಪಡಿಸಿದ ಸ್ಮರಣೀಯ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ಮೂಡಿಬಂದಿತು.

Vado Ho Amcho – Season 3

On the occasion of the Nativity Feast of Mother Mary, ICYM Shamboor, as part of its annual tradition, organised “Vado Ho Amcho – Season 3”, a one-day parish gathering aimed at bringing together all parishioners through fellowship, fun, games and various ward-wise activities.

The programme was held on 13 September, after the First Mass. Breakfast was served to all the parishioners before the commencement of the main programme.

The stage programme began with a prayer and a singing session, followed by the inaugural ceremony. The event was officially inaugurated by the dignitaries by bursting the balloons placed on the event banner. This was followed by the inauguration of the championship trophy.

The dignitaries present on the occasion included Rev. Fr. Santhosh D’Souza, ICYM Director; Godfrey Pashan, Vice President of the Parish Pastoral Council and Head of St. Antony Ward; Sujai Lobo, Coordinator of the 21 Pastoral Commissions and Head of St. Joseph Ward; Melvin Pais, ICYM Animator; Maxim Lobo, Catholic Sabha President; Aston Fernandes, ICYM Secretary; Maxim Pinto, Head of St. Sebastian Ward; and Arun Veigas, Head of Sacred Heart Ward.

A speech was delivered by Godfrey Pashan, followed by a special birthday celebration for Rev. Fr. Santhosh D’Souza, whose birthday fell on the same day. The birthday cake was cut in the presence of the gathering, making the occasion even more memorable. Fr. Santhosh D’Souza then addressed the gathering and shared his message with the parishioners.

Aston Fernandes delivered the vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to all the dignitaries, parishioners and everyone who contributed to the successful organisation of the event. The stage programme was compered by Roy Pashan.

Following the inaugural programme, the much-awaited ward-wise games and activities commenced. The various games were conducted and coordinated by Joswin Veigas, Telan Pashan and Joshua Baptist, with enthusiastic participation from all four wards. The activities encouraged teamwork, unity and friendly competition among the parishioners.

Lunch was served to all the parishioners during the afternoon. The afternoon session continued with exciting outdoor games including Volleyball, Throwball and Tug of War, which witnessed energetic participation and enthusiastic support from the respective wards.

As part of the celebration, special games for children were conducted separately on 8 September, the day of the Nativity Feast, during the afternoon. The winners of the children's games were also honoured with prizes during the concluding ceremony of Vado Ho Amcho – Season 3.

After the completion of all the activities, the concluding programme and prize distribution ceremony were held. Prizes were distributed to the winners of the various games and activities, including the children's competitions.

The overall championship was won by Sacred Heart Ward, while St. Antony Ward secured the Runner-up position. St. Sebastian Ward secured Third Place, followed by St. Joseph Ward in Fourth Place.

At the conclusion of the programme, Aston Fernandes expressed sincere gratitude to all the sponsors who supported the event and honoured them for their valuable contribution. The celebration concluded on a joyful note with a lively Baila dance, bringing together parishioners from all the wards in fellowship and celebration.

Vado Ho Amcho – Season 3 once again proved to be a memorable gathering that strengthened unity, friendship and fellowship among the parish community, while providing an opportunity for parishioners of all ages to participate, enjoy and celebrate together.
