Remedy Youth Group Hosts Inspiring Career Guidance Session in Vasai

Vasai, 7 April 2025 — The Remedy Youth Group of the Diocese of Vasai organised an insightful career guidance session titled “Unlock Your Career Opportunity” on 6 April at the Shrine of Our Lady of Remedies, Remedy. The event aimed to equip young people with the skills and knowledge needed to make informed career decisions and grow professionally.

Renowned career guidance expert Mr. Prakash Almeida led the session. With years of experience delivering impactful talks across national and international platforms, Mr. Almeida brought a dynamic and engaging approach that resonated with the participants.

The session featured three key segments:

1. Career Guidance:

Mr. Almeida encouraged participants to explore a wide range of career options aligned with their interests, strengths, and current market trends. He stressed the importance of self-assessment and strategic planning in shaping successful careers.

2. Interview Preparation:

This segment offered practical advice on building effective CVs, presenting confidently, answering common interview questions, and understanding employer expectations. Mr. Almeida provided actionable tips that helped demystify the interview process.

3. Public Speaking:

Addressing one of the most common challenges among youth, Mr. Almeida shared techniques to overcome stage fear and develop clear, confident communication. Interactive activities allowed participants to practise their public speaking skills in a supportive environment.
