Project Lily to Host Special Valentine’s Day Webinar on Chastity

As Valentine’s Day approaches, Project Lily, an initiative promoting the virtue of chastity among youth in India, is set to host a special online seminar as part of its “Made for More" series. The session, titled “Valentine’s Day Under the Apple Tree: Joy in Chastity and Jesus Intimacy,” will take place on February 12, 2024, at 8:30 PM IST via Zoom.

Designed to offer a space for spiritual reflection and growth, the seminar invites young people to explore the beauty of divine love and the transformative power of chastity. The session will focus on three key themes: The Apple Tree Symbolism and Divine Love, Intimacy with God through Ignatian Visualization, and Chastity and Spiritual Growth in a Fast-Paced World.

Participants of the seminar will delve into the biblical imagery of the apple tree from the Song of Songs, discovering how it symbolizes Christ’s sacrificial love and redemption. They will also engage in Ignatian visualization, a form of imaginative prayer, to foster a deeper connection with God. Lastly, attendees will learn how chastity, grounded in prayer and Pope John Paul II’s "Theology of the Body," helps honour God’s design for love, relationships, and human dignity.

The Vision Behind Project Lily

Founded by a group of like-minded people who are part of the Jesus Youth Movement, Project Lily emerged during the COVID-19 pandemic as a response to the growing challenges young people face regarding chastity and sexual integrity. The project aims to inspire and support others in embracing purity and holiness. Through its educational outreach, Project Lily seeks to counter the harmful effects of the sexual revolution and pornified culture by promoting the virtue of chastity.

The upcoming Valentine’s Day webinar by Project Lily presents a unique opportunity for reflection and spiritual enrichment. Through prayer, discussion, and scriptural meditation, attendees will be invited to embrace the beauty of chastity and grow in their faith.
